Adrian Yanez is an American fighter and one of the biggest prospects in the UFC. The Hispanic bantamweight finished Randy Costa in her main card fight at UFC Vegas 32.

The KO took his streak to seven straight bouts and got off to a fantastic start to his UFC career.

Yanez earned a contract with the UFC after finishing Brady Huang in 40 seconds on Dana White’s Contender Series in August 2020.

He has remained active since then, winning two more fights by knockout before defeating Costa. He’s up there now with the likes of Francis Ngannou, who has the longest active winning streak by knocking out their opponents.

However, this was not an easy win for Adrian Yanez. Costa put on a show early on when he kept hitting the bull’s eye with his jab. At one point in the first round, Costa had nearly 50 hits against Yanez’s 11. It was a completely one-sided round before Yanez pushed back into the fight for the final two minutes.

The momentum had shifted, and Adrian Yanez was enough. He grew into the fight and captured the center of the octagon in the second round. The future star eventually ended the fight after a couple of body shots and an uppercut that broke Costa’s guard.

The UFC clearly has an exciting perspective ahead of it.

Adrian Yanez predicts the winner of Cory Sandhagen vs. TJ Dillashaw

Yanez and Costa aren’t the last exciting bantam weights to see on the main map. The event is led by a major battle between Cory Sandhagen and TJ Dillashaw.

Yanez made his prediction for the main event in an interview with Sportskeeda’s John Hyon Ko.

“Honestly, I think [Cory Sandhagen] makes a decision over five rounds, “said Adrian Yanez.

It will be interesting to see if his prediction is true, but for now he will be enjoying his own victory.
