Team India all-rounder Ravindra Jadeja shared an emotional message on his social media handle while posting an adorable picture with his wife Riva Solanki.

Ravindra Jadeja is in Great Britain for Team India’s England tour. He played in the final of the World Test Championship (WTC) against New Zealand in Southampton and is now preparing for the test series against England, which begins on August 4th in Nottingham.

On Sunday, Ravindra Jadeja went to his official Instagram handle and uploaded two pictures. The first shows the cricketer in a playful mood with his wife, while the second image is a solo image of Riva.

The 32-year-old all-rounder shared the pictures with the caption:

“Ek Bechaini si hoti hai, ab toh tere naam se (feel restless when you hear your name) #majormissing.”

Ravindra Jadeja impressed with the racket in the three-day training game against County Select XI. He scored 75 in the first innings and 51 in the second. He only managed one wicket with the twist of his left arm.

Despite his impressive performance with the racket, Ravindra Jadeja could not appear in the playing XI in the first Test against England in Nottingham. If India chooses a weirdo, which it most likely would, Ravichandran Ashwin will likely get ahead of Ravindra Jadeja.

Ravindra Jadeja was recently trolled over the tweet “Rajput Boy forever”

The Saurashtra cricketer found himself in a controversy recently following a tweet that read:

“Rajput Boy Forever. Jai Hind”.

Twitterati and Indian cricket fans expressed disappointment with Ravindra Jadeja’s tweet, claiming that his tweet promoted casteism.

The controversy came behind the comment by Ravindra Jadeja’s Chennai Super Kings (CSK) teammate, Suresh Raina, “I am Brahmin too”. Raina has been heavily criticized for the views he shared during the Tamil Nadu Premier League (TNPL). During the comment, Raina was asked how he accepted the Chennai culture. The southpaw replied:

“I think I am a brahmin too. I’ve been playing in Chennai since 2004. I love the culture here. I am fortunate to be part of CSK. “

Both Raina and Ravindra Jadeja will be on duty for CSK when the second half of the IPL 2021 begins in the United Arab Emirates in September. According to the latest reports, the T20 league will resume with a clash between the Chennai Super Kings (CSK) and the Mumbai Indians (MI) in Dubai on September 19th.
