Truecaller has the former WhatsApp manager Pragya Misra Mehrishi. appointed as director of public affairs in India. In her new role, Mehrishi will lead Truecaller India’s public affairs strategy and work on developing relationships with various stakeholders including government officials, business partners, investors, the media and members of civil society. Before being appointed by Truecaller, Mehrishi was Communications Manager for WhatsApp India and was involved in launching product functions for the social media company such as the digital payments business.
