Paddy Pimblett is set to make his UFC debut against unrated lightweight Luigi Vendramini on September 4th.

Pimblett will be taking his first walk to the Octagon this weekend, led by a middleweight bout between compatriot Darren Till and Derek Brunson.

Paddy Pimblett currently holds a 16-3 record that includes several notable performances at Cage Warriors and other regional promotions.

“The Baddy” is known for its grappling and has already collected seven entries and five knockout victories in this sport.

Paddy Pimblett is currently in a winning streak of two fights that has overtaken Decky Dalton and Davide Martinez in his last two appearances. The former featherweight champion of the Cage Warriors will be looking to make a statement when he faces Luigi Vendramini at UFC Fight Night: Brunson vs Till.

Meanwhile, Vendramini holds a 9-2 record that includes one win and two losses within the UFC. In his most recent appearance, the Brazilian dropped a decision against Fares Ziam at UFC 263.

Luigi Vendramini is a racket known for his knockout power in one fell swoop and will be an intriguing stylistic matchup for Paddy Pimblett.

Aside from his knockout power, Vendramini also holds a black belt in Brazilian jiu-jitsu, which makes him a tough test for Paddy Pimblett.

However, the Liverpudulian is confident that he can win a knockout victory against his lesser-known opponent on his UFC debut.

In fact, ‘The Baddy’ claims that if he doesn’t get his opponent out of the way in the opening round, he’ll be disappointed.

I hope Luigi tries to hit me because I’m going to knock him out … It’s nice, people underestimate my hit, everyone knows I’m a good wrestler.
