Update 1.11.0 came earlier today and will introduce several new items to the game. However, players will need to update the game to the latest version in order to get their hands on new content.

The fireworks is perhaps the only major event to look forward to in August. The event takes place every Sunday at 7:00 p.m. Players can design their unique fireworks patterns and share them with the rest of the community.
Raffle tickets for the event can be purchased at Redd’s booth, located outside of Resident Services in Animal Crossing.
The developers have optimized the event a little this time. In addition to regular seasonal items, the decorations will include depictions of Tom Nook and Isabelle.
The Oban Festival, celebrated in Japan, will also appear in the game and add items including eggplant cow and cucumber horse.
Apart from that, the official Nintendo site is also alluding to changes in the gameplay that will supposedly improve the gaming experience.
While that’s good to hear, that’s all the information that is available on the subject. Nintendo confirmed a few days ago that more Animal Crossing updates are currently in development and will be rolled out soon.
