Italian news agency Soccer Italy Report Juventus weighs a loan deal with an option to buy for Manchester City striker Gabriel Jesus. With Cristiano Ronaldo’s future at stake, Juventus Gabriel has identified Jesus as a possible successor to the Portuguese superstar should he leave the club.
Gabriel Jesus joined Manchester City in 2016 and has been heavily touted as heir to Sergio Agüero. However, the 24-year-old Brazilian could look for an exit now as the club have their sights set on signing Tottenham star Harry Kane following Agüero’s departure to Barcelona.
Manchester City want to keep Fernadinho for another season
According to Sky Sports, Manchester City veteran midfielder Fernandinho has been placed on the Premier League player approved list since his contract expired in June. Three Manchester City stars were named on the release list released last Friday, including the late duo Eric Garcia and Sergio Agüero.
However, new reports from the BBC Manchester City are now planning to offer Fernadinho a one-year contract extension. The 36-year-old has spent a sensational nine years at Etihad and won nine major trophies, including three Premier League titles and four League cups.
Tottenham are confident of keeping Harry Kane
According to the athlete‘Tottenham are confident of keeping the services of club captain Harry Kane, who has been heavily linked with a move to Manchester City.
Back in May, Sky Sports reported that Kane had expressed his desire to leave Tottenham to fight for silver goods. The news immediately put Manchester City and Chelsea on high alert as they plan to bolster their offensive lineups this summer.
However, after club president Daniel Levy reportedly set a staggering £ 150m price tag, Tottenham are now confident of excluding Manchester City and Chelsea from a deal for the 27-year-old.
