Part of the popularity behind Animal Crossing is decorating and customizing the island. There aren’t many games that allow gamers to completely customize their living space to their liking. This includes many different buildings that players can add to their landscape. One such building is the Able Sisters tailor’s shop.
This shop has been a fan favorite and has been since 2001. The sisters Mabel, Sable and Label run a tailor’s shop, which opens many items of clothing for players to which they would otherwise not have access. Mabel and her sisters offer players the full range of clothing customizations in the game in their shop. This is how players can get one on their island.

Animal Crossing: How to Get Able Sisters Tailoring Store
While tailoring will ultimately cost 5,000 bells, there are a few things that need to be done before those bells can be dumped. First, Animal Crossing players will need to build the first version (not the updated one) of Nook’s Cranny. Once it’s built, Mabel will be inside to speak to Timmy and Tommy Nook about the sale and the players can speak to her. After that, Mabel will visit the player island once a week.
Next, players will start buying things from her. Players can buy whatever they want once they hit the 5,000 bell plateau mentioned above. Mabel will tell Animal Crossing players about her plans to build a permanent store on the island on their third visit. Players can then choose where to place the Able Sisters tailor shop.
The shop will then automatically start building. Players don’t need to donate materials or bells, as Mabel is simply using leftovers from building Nooks Cranny. The shop will be ready in exactly 48 hours. This opens up a host of new clothing and customization options for Animal Crossing players. Players love the Able Sisters tailor shop and are adding it to their islands asap.
Players have been excited to add the Able Sisters Tailor Shop to their island, and so it goes.
